Telehealth – online Osteopathy and Strength and Conditioning consults
Osteopathy consults normally involve assessment, diagnosis and treatment/management plans for an injury or niggle, or in the case of Strength and Conditioning, programs and coaching to improve sports performance. The treatment we choose to implement with each client varies depending on the individual and the latest research relating to that injury or condition.
The different types of treatment include:
Education
Exercise and rehabilitation
Referral to a specialist or GP or referral for imaging such as Xrays
Load management plans (gym modifications, running programs, sports training progressions)
Posture Correction
Hands-on therapy such as massage, dry needling and manipulation
As you can see from this list, the only thing we can’t do in an online consult is hands-on therapy, however there is a lot that we can offer to ensure your complaint doesn’t worsen. We can help you to self-manage or progress your current rehab program so that you can continue to recover well and not fall behind in your progress.
Below are some examples of specific injuries or complaints that we can help with via a Video Consult. The list is not exhaustive and if you are unsure whether we can help you, please give us a call or email and we can let you know whether we may be able to help you via an online video consult.
Examples of injuries we can help with via a video consult:
